Upcoming Experiences
What to Expect
Expect a few hours where phones are forgotten, hands meet clay and creativity takes centre stage. Whether you’re making your first pinch pot or your fiftieth mug, our studio is a welcoming space to slow down, connect and create something uniquely yours.
Before your class
Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit of clay on. Aprons will be provided. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in with a complimentary drink and get comfortable with the studio.
During the class
You’ll be guided through a 2.5 hrs session introducing hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building. No experience neccessary - just bring your curiosity and enjoy the process.
Finishing touches
Choose from a curated palette of contemporary underglaze colours or timeless glossy white. Your piece will then be professionally glazed and kiln fired at Pettit Ceramics.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for drying, firing and finishing. You’ll be notified by email when your pieces are ready for collection.
What you’ll make
You can choose between your own design or following a guided project. Examples of projects are cups, small jugs, cake stands, matcha bowls, platters and olive dishes.
The options are endless.
